Tammy Williams Hired as Stacks Manager in Jackson Library

Tammy Williams was recently hired as the stacks manager in the Access Services department of Jackson Library. She is an alumna of UNC Greensboro and holds a BS in special education. She previously worked for Guilford County Schools and University Libraries, where she held positions in both the circulation and cataloging departments.

"When the opportunity presented itself, I couldn't resist the tug of returning to UNCG and serving the community of scholars that I love," said Williams.

In her new role, Williams will supervise 30 student employees, who will facilitate and evaluate workflows and initiate new changes to existing library procedures.
